PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor and Council of Hagerstown will hold a public hearing on June 23, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chamber, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 1 East Franklin Street, Hagerstown, MD.   The purpose of the public hearing is to consider proposed revisions to the Land Management Code (Article 7 and definitions found in Article 3) of Chapter 140 of the City Code, known as the Forest Conservation Ordinance. The purpose of the revisions is to adopt amendments directed by recent state legislation in order to comply with the State’s Forest Conservation Act.
