NOTICE OF HEARING
There will be a meeting of the Shippensburg Zoning Hearing Board, on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 5:30 PM., at the Shippensburg Borough Office, 111 North Fayette Street, Shippensburg, PA. The purpose of the meeting will be to hear the following Variance Application:
Board Case Number 2026-V-02; Colby, Steve, and Casey McCarren for the property located at 40 Lurgan Avenue, Shippensburg, PA [Parcel ID: 27-6B25.-002.-000000].The property is located in the Light Manufacturing (M-1) District, and is owned by Colby, Steve, and Casey McCarren (40 Lurgan Ave LLC). The McCarren’s has applied for a variance from the Borough Code of Shippensburg, Chapter 150, Article XIV Conditional Use Regulations, § 150-123 Planned mixed-use business park A. Two primary access points shall be provided via an arterial or collector street as identified in the Borough's Comprehensive Plan, and B. A minimum of 10 acres is required for designation as a planned mixed use business park. It is being requested that a variance is granted for reducing the number of access points via an arterial or collector street, and reducing the required 10 acres for a planned use mixed business park for said property.
