Sealed bids will be received by Tullytown Borough, electronically through PennBid until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, on June 24, 2026, with the result posted thereafter for the following:
TULLYTOWN MAIN STREET IMPROVEMENTS – TREE REMOVAL
All documents and solicitation details are available and open to public inspection anytime at PennBid https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. The bidder who is awarded the contract will be required to pay a fee to PennBid. The names of those who have secured plans/specifications may be obtained at PennBid.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.
The work to be performed under this Contract consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, labor and supervision required for construction of the TULLYTOWN MAIN STREET IMPROVEMENTS – TREE REMOVAL as shown on the Contract Drawings and specified herein. This project includes tree removal and stump grinding. The successful Contractor must comply with the Federal Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination as indicated in the Contract Documents.
Questions regarding this advertisement will only be accepted online via the PennBid website, https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com until 10:00 A.M. on the 17th day of June 2026.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bids within 30 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to accept the bid that it deems, in its sole judgement, to be in the best interest of the Borough.
