TO THE ABOVE NAMED DEFENDANTS: Michael D. Halsten, Brandy Halsten and Parties in Possession.
YOU ARE NOTIFIED that a Petition has been electronically filed in the Office of the Clerk of this Court naming you as a Defendant in this action (see Iowa Court Rules Chapter 16 for general rules and information on electronic filing, and Chapter 16, Division VI regarding protection of personal information in court filings). The Petition prays for judgment in rem against the property involved in this action for the sum of $44,320.42 with interest at 6.0 % per annum from and including March 11, 2026, plus costs associated with foreclosure on the Note executed by Michael D. Halsten to Bankers Trust Company, which is the sole and absolute owner thereof. Said Note, together with the Mortgage given to secure the same, is due and payable by reason of the failure of Defendant Michael D. Halsten to pay the installment of principal and interest when due. Plaintiff prays in said Petition for the foreclosure of said Mortgage recorded in the office of the Recorder of Polk County, Iowa, on September 15, 2003 in Book 10149 at Page 152 on the following described property:
Lot 171 in L.M. Mann’s First Addition to Oak Park, now included in and forming a part of the City of Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa.
