NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that the City of South Bend, Indiana, Board of Public Works will receive sealed electronic quotes at bpwbids@southbendin.gov until 9:00 a.m., Local Time, on June 23rd, 2026 for the following: Walker Field House Restoration Project - Phase II Project No. 125-044B The Title of the Quote and Project Number (where applicable) as described above must be included in the subject line of the email to which you have attached your quote. The name of the company/vendor, address, contact email address and phone number must be included in the body of the email. Detailed instructions and information, including the link to the Reserved Mailbox for electronic quote submittals, is available at southbendin.gov/bids. Work includes exterior restoration of the park structure primarily related to relevant historic masonry restoration at Walker Field House in South Bend, all more particularly described in plans and specifications prepared by City Engineering & Hoerstman Design Shop, phone (574)235-7483. This project is funded in part by a grant from the National Park Service's Historic Preservation Fund Program administered by the Indiana Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations is required, including: federal and state audit requirements, prohibition on lobbying activities, the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, the National Occupational Safety and Health Act, the Lead-Based Paint Poisoning Prevention Act, the Architectural Barriers Act, and Executive Orders and Department of Labor regulations regarding Equal Employment Opportunity. The awarded quoter will be required to send the original check or quote bond via USPS. Please note: The City reserves the right to request supplemental information provided by the quoter, and may also conduct random inquiries of the quoter's current and previous customers regardless of pre-qualified status. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all quotes or to accept a full or partial award of the quote or quotes which, in its judgment, will be to the best interests of the City of South Bend.
