ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Town of Port Barre hereby advertises for the submission of offers to purchase the Glass Systems building, 17803 Highway 190, Port Barre, Louisiana 70577, zoned industrial, as described below:
A certain lot or parcel of ground, together with all buildings, appurtenances and improvements whether currently in existence or to be placed thereon, situated in Section Four (4), Township Six South (T-6-S), Range Four East (R-4-E), in the Town of Port Barre, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, containing 0.938 acres, measuring One Hundred Fifty-two and .65 Feet (152.65') on the North and South Sides, and Two Hundred Sixty-seven and .73 (267.73') Feet on the East side, and being bounded, now or formerly, as follows: North, by Palm Street; South, by U.S. Highway 190; East by Tract Six (6) of Plat of Survey; and West, by First National Bank of Port Barre. Said lot being more particularly described as Tract Five (5) of a Plat of Survey executed by Edmond E. Dupre, Jr., Land Surveyor, on January 21, 1983, and revised on February 9, 1983, and attached to the Act recorded in Conveyance Book Z-24 page 708 of the records of St. Landry Parish.
This is the same property acquired by the Town of Port Barre by Sheriff's Deed from Prudhomme Filtration Systems (Malcolm Prudhomme) filed May 10, 1988, duly recorded under Original Act No. 723943 B in Conveyance Book L-30 page 239 of the records of St. Landry Parish.
