PUBLIC NOTICE   Pursuant to the “Surface Mining Conservation & Reclamation Act” and “Clean Streams Law” notice is hereby given that Fieg Brothers, PO Box 38, Berlin, PA 15531, has re-quested bond release for Surface Mine Permit #56140103 known as Peachey Mine. The current permit issued April 18, 2016, is located 2/3 mile north of Comps Crossroads along Ridge Road (T-764) and 8/10 mile north of the Bedford County line on the South-ampton and Fairhope Township border in Southampton and Fairhope Townships, Somerset County. Bond release of $5,210.00 is requested for 42.8 acres. Total bond held is $5,210.00. The entire release area has been planted and is eligible for Stage III final release. Written comments, objections, and requests for a public hearing or informal conference may be submitted to the Department of Environmental Protection, Cambria Office, Bureau of District Mining Operations, 286 Industrial Park Rd., Ebensburg, PA 15931-4119 within thirty (30) days fol-lowing the fourth and final publication of this notice.
