NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Section 575-56 E (5) of the City of Peekskill Zoning Ordinance, a Public Hearing will be held by the City of Peekskill Planning Commission in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 840 Main Street, Peekskill, New York, on Tuesday, July 14 2026, at 7:30 P.M., or as soon thereafter as can be heard, on the following application:
The applicant, Joseph G. Thompson Architect, PLLC, of Peekskill, New York, is requesting approval of a Final Site Plan pursuant to Sections 575-56 B (1), (3) (a) and (4) of the City of Peekskill Zoning Ordinance for the proposed construction of a single-family dwelling, which requires that a Public Hearing be held by the Planning Commission. The subject property is located at 226 Walnut Street in Peekskill, New York, is designated on the City Tax Maps as Section 33.46, Block 1, Lot 8, and is located within the R-1C, One-Family Residential District.
All application materials are on file in the Department of Planning in City Hall and are open for public inspection. The application materials will also be available on the website prior to the hearing. All interested persons are invited to be present at the public hearing. Interested persons may also submit written comments via email to cbennett@cityofpeekskillny.gov or by mail to Cecille Bennett - Zoning Coordinator, City of Peekskill, Department of Planning, 840 Main Street, Peekskill, New York 10566.
