NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of Des Moines, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on August 3, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, located at City Hall, 1200 Locust Street, Des Moines, Iowa, to consider an appeal filed by Heart of America (Developer) represented by Chris Whalen (Officer) pursuant to City Code Section 135-9.3.9(B). The appeal requests City Council review of the Plan and Zoning Commission's decision regarding Type 2 Design Alternatives to the Site Plan for property located in the vicinity of 100 SW 11th Street, Des Moines, Iowa, including proposed relief from certain design standards of the City Code.
