NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF AMES, IOWA 2025/26 LOW POINT DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT The City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, will meet on July 28, 2026, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 515 Clark Avenue, Ames, Iowa, at 6:00 p.m., at which time it will hear objections to the plans, specifications, form of contract, and cost estimate for 2025/26 Low Point Drainage Improvements Program. The general nature of the work is: Removal of existing undersized intakes to be replaced with larger grate intakes, grading of an existing ditch to properly convey flow, removal and replacement of pedestrian ramps, installation of 15 LF of 15-Inch RCP pipe.
