NOTICE OF SOLICITATION
The Port of Corpus Christi Authority (PCCA) is currently accepting bids for Generator Installation at Various Locations. Potential bidders must be registered on the PCCA’s procurement website at https://pocca.procureware.com to obtain the contract documents.
Scope of work generally consists of preparing four (4) sites for generator installation which includes foundations, conduit, etc., and installing four (4) generators (Supplied by PCCA) and three (3) automatic transfer switches (Supplied by PCCA) at various PCCA locations.
This is a lump sum contract. Bidder must submit a bid bond or cashier’s check for 5% of the total amount of the bid. Perfor¬mance and Payment Bonds are required when the success¬ful bidder executes this contract, each for 100% of the total con¬tract amount.
A pre bid meeting is scheduled at the Ortiz International Center located at 402 Harbor Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78401 at 9:00 A.M. CST on Thursday, July 16, 2026, with a site visit to follow. Login information for virtual access to the pre-bid meeting will be published prior to the meeting date/time. Bidders attending in person are to report to the Ortiz International Center front desk where they will be directed to the conference room. The project location(s) are within a TWIC secure area; therefore, advanced registration is required for the site visit. The site visit is in person only.
One (1) original signed Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Bid for Generator Installation at Various Locations - at 3:00 P.M. CST on Thursday, July 30, 2026” and must be addressed to Port of Corpus Christi Au¬thority, 400 Harbor Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78401, Atten¬tion: Melinda Licon, Manager of Procurement Services. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud virtually at the time bids are due. Bids may not be faxed or emailed to the PCCA office. Bids submitted by express mail service must be in a sealed envelope inside the express mail packaging. The PCCA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids received.
