v.
Town of Northbridge
TO: Any person claiming an interest in certain land off Fowler Road in Northbridge, Worcester County, Massachusetts, known as Parcel II as described in a 1949 deed of Louise Seabury et al. to Edwin R. Davis, recorded in the Worcester Registry of Deeds in Book 3213, Page 150:
The Plaintiff(s) has/have filed a Complaint with the Land Court on October 23, 2024. This Complaint may be examined at said Court or online at www.masscourts.org. Plaintiffs Edwin R. Davis IV and Linda S. Pierson seek a judgment declaring that certain land known as Parcel II as described in a 1949 deed of Louise Seabury et al. to Edwin R. Davis, recorded in the Worcester Registry of Deeds in Book 3213, Page 150, was incorrectly identified in an Instrument Taking recorded in the Worcester Registry of Deeds in Book 10843, Page 78, and subsequent Final Judgment in Tax Lien Case in Land Court case no. 84732 T.L., recorded in said Registry in Book 14285, Page 213, and that Davis and Pierson are the lawful owners of said parcel. To resolve the disputed claims in this case, the parties have agreed to enter into an agreement for judgment under which the plaintiffs will purchase, and the Town will convey, the extent of the Town's right, title and interest in the said Parcel II (see Northbridge Assessors' Map 20, Parcel 27). The agreement for judgment will be filed with the Court on or after August 7, 2026 for endorsement by the Court.
The filing of the agreement for judgment will make the agreement final. Any person claiming an interest in the said Parcel II must file a notice of that interest with the Court, at Three Pemberton Square, Boston, MA 02018, on or before July 31, 2026.
It is ORDERED that notice be given by publishing a copy of this notice once in each week for two successive weeks in the Worcester Telegram & Gazette and the Blackstone Valley Tribune, newspapers with general circulation in Northbridge, Worcester County, Massachusetts, the last publication to be one day at least before the return date, July 31, 2026.
Witness, Gordon H. Piper, Chief Justice of the Land Court, the seventh day of July, 2026.
