NOTICE - SEEKING BIDS BOROUGH OF HANOVER Indoor Firing Range Equipment Installation / Fit-out The Borough of Hanover is accepting sealed bids for the Borough of Hanover “Indoor Firing Range Equipment Installation / Fit-out Project”. A complete proposal packet may be obtained from Tammy Snyder, Project Manager, Borough of Hanover, 33 Frederick St., Hanover, PA 17331, Phone: 717-637-3877 or by downloading it free from the Borough of Hanover Website: https://www.hanoverboroughpa.gov/. The Indoor Firing Range Equipment Installation / Fit-out project work involves the installation of a third party, indoor firing range system. Details have been provided in the bidding documents. Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bidder’s maximum bid price is required to be accompanied with a Bid. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price shall be required from the Successful Bidder. An anti-collusion affidavit is required for this Bid. The Contract will be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry. Bids shall be submitted only on the enclosed Proposal Form included in the Bidding Documents. While Bidders may make comments to clarify their bid, Bidders cannot change, modify, delete, alter, amend or make additions to the wording to any of the Bidding Documents, including but not limited to the Agreement. Unauthorized conditions, exceptions, limitations, or provisions attached to a Bid may be cause for rejection of the Bid. Any questions regarding the Bidding Documents shall be submitted as Requests for Interpretation and the Bidding Documents may only be modified by Addenda issued by the Borough prior to the Bid opening date. The Borough Council of the Borough of Hanover reserves the rights to reject any or all Bids; to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities or informalities in a Bid or the Bid procedure; and to accept any Bid which it may deem to be for or in the best interest of the Borough of Hanover. Bids will be received at the above address until 21 August 2026 at 11:30 AM. Any Bid received after said date and time will be returned unopened. All Bids must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Bid for Borough of Hanover", bearing the name of the Bidder and “Indoor Firing Range Equipment Installation / Fit-out”. If the Bid is sent through the mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope shall be enclosed in a separate envelope with the notation "Indoor Firing Range Equipment Installation / Fit-out BID ENCLOSED" on the face of it. Bids may be taken under advisement and the award of contract, if awarded, will be made within sixty (60) days after the date of the opening of the Bids, or otherwise provided by law. The Borough Council reserves the rights to formally accept a Bid and award a Contract by public announcement at a regular meeting of the Borough Council.
