NTC DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES REGULAR MEETING MINUTES DATE: TUESDAY, JUNE 2, 2026 TIME: 12:00 PM PUBLIC HEARING ON 2026-2027 NTC DISTRICT BUDGET 12:15 PM (OR IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING PUBLIC HEARING) LUNCH 12:45 PM REGULAR BOARD MEETING CALL TO ORDER LOCATION: NORTHCENTRAL TECHNICAL COLLEGE – TIMBERWOLF CONFERENCE CENTER/D100, 1000 W. CAMPUS DRIVE, WAUSAU, WI 54401 AND VIA ZOOM PUBLIC HEARING ON 2026-2027 NTC DISTRICT BUDGET A. Call to Order a. Chairperson Troy Brown called the Public Hearing to order at 12:00 pm. i. Roll Call: Troy Brown, Sherry Bunten (via Zoom), Tom Felch, Renae Krings, Nate Lehman, Charlie Paulson, Paul Proulx, Heather Renzelmann B. Highlights of Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Budget a. A copy of the 2026-2027 Budget Book is available with the official meeting minutes. C. Public Comment a. There were no public comments. D. Adjourn Public Hearing a. Public Hearing adjourned at 12:05 pm. REGULAR MEETING CALL TO ORDER The Northcentral Technical College District Board of Trustees met on June 2, 2026, at the Wausau Campus as well as via Zoom. Chairperson Troy Brown called the meeting to order at 12:45 pm. A. Board Members Present: Troy Brown, Sherry Bunten (via Zoom), Tom Felch, Renae Krings, Nate Lehman, Charlie Paulson, Paul Proulx, Heather Renzelmann B. Compliance with Open Meetings Law (Wis. Stat. 19.81-19.88) a. Nikki Kopp reported the meeting was being held in compliance with Open Meetings Law (Wis. Stat. 19.81-19.88) C. Public Comment a. There were no public comments. THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WERE APPROVED A. Approval of Minutes from May 5, 2026, Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Tom Felch moved and Renae Krings seconded Northcentral Technical College District Board approval of the May 5, 2026 Board of Trustees Regular Meeting. Motion carried unanimously. B. Award the Sale – Chet Strebe Resolution awarding the sale of $1,500,000 general obligation promissory notes, series 2026B. Charlie Paulson moved and Nate Lehman seconded Northcentral Technical College District Board approval of the resolution awarding the sale of $1,500,000 general obligation promissory notes, series 2026B therewith to Huntington Securities, Inc. at a True Interest rate of 2.8602%. Roll Call Vote Ayes: Sherry Bunten, Tom Felch, Renae Krings, Nate Lehman, Charlie Paulson, Paul Proulx, Heather Renzelmann, Troy Brown. Motion carried unanimously. C. Resolution Disclosing the District Reserves Maintained by Northcentral Technical College – Chet Strebe Charlie Paulson moved and Renae Krings seconded Northcentral Technical College District Board approval of the disclosure of all reserves maintained by it, the amount contained in each reserve and the anticipated amount by which each reserve will be increased or decreased during the year for which the budget is adopted as provided on the attached resolution. Motion carried unanimously. D. Resolution for Adoption of 2026-2027 Northcentral Technical College District Budget – Chet Strebe Charlie Paulson moved and Nate Lehman seconded that the Northcentral Technical College District Board hereby adopts the budget for the fiscal year 2026-2027 as included in the attached resolution for the operation and maintenance of the District for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026. Roll Call Vote Ayes: Sherry Bunten, Tom Felch, Renae Krings, Nate Lehman, Charlie Paulson, Paul Proulx, Heather Renzelmann, Troy Brown. Motion carried unanimously. E. Wausau Land Disposal – Wisconsin State Crime Lab – Jeannie Worden Paul Proulx moved and Sherry Bunten seconded Northcentral Technical College District Board approval of the Wausau Land Disposal to the awarded developer of NTC RFP Number 27-138-01 and the Wisconsin State RFP number 455-016 at a cost no less than the appraised value of $265,700 and requests that the WTCS President do the same. Motion carried unanimously. F. Paul Proulx moved and Heather Renzelmann seconded Northcentral Technical College District Board approval of the Consent Voting Agenda including: a. Agricultural Robotics Technician Associate Degree Program Request b. Livestock Technician Technical Diploma Program Request c. Receipts + Expenditures d. Personnel Changes Roll Call Vote Ayes: Sherry Bunten, Tom Felch, Renae Krings, Nate Lehman, Charlie Paulson, Paul Proulx, Heather Renzelmann, Troy Brown. Motion carried unanimously.
