NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS RE-ROOFING CITY HALL, CITY HALL ANNEX, AND FAMILY SUPPORT BUILDINGS CITY OF PRATTVILLE BID NO. 026-007 Sealed bids for the Re-Roofing of City Hall, City Hall Annex, and Family Support Buildings will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Prattville in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 101 West Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067, until 2:00 p.m. CST on Monday, August 10, 2026, at which time publicly opened and read aloud at said location. A Non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CST in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 101 West Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067. The scope of work involves furnishing all labor, materials, services, and equipment required to install a PVC membrane roofing system overlay throughout the building, including but not limited to the replacement of the sloped shingled roof system with metal, and various flashing components throughout the facility in accordance with the project documents and manufacturer's requirements. To be eligible for consideration, bids must be submitted on complete original proposals made available at by emailing lee.carter@prattvilleal.gov, note Bid No 026—007 Re-Roofing in the subject line. No bid documents will be distributed later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled opening of bids. The City of Prattville is not responsible for 3rd party document distribution. Guarantee will be required with each bid for at least 5% of the amount of the bid (not to exceed $10,000.00) filed in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Prattville. Bid Bonds shall include certification that the bonding company is listed in Circular 570 of the U.S. Treasury Department. Each bidder must submit with their bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond. Contractors are required to apply for all permits (City of Prattville local permit fees will be waived). Each bidder must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license.
