NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING   The public will take notice that the City Council of Kings Mountain has called a public hearing regarding  applications for rezoning. The hearing will take place at City Hall, 101 W. Gold Street, Kings Mountain, North Carolina in Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting. Proposed new amendments include: Z-26-10 Rezone parcel 11755 from Light Industrial (LI) to Auto-Urban Commercial (AU). Z-26-11 Rezone parcels 56672 and 57246 from Suburban Residential (SR) to Planned Development (PD). The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Opportunity for public input will be offered during the public hearing portion of the meeting.
