REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
200’ ROAD SLIDE ON EVANS/RICEVILLE ROAD
Cascade County (County) is requesting Request For Qualifications (RFQs) from qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering services related to the design and construction of repairs for an approximately 200-foot roadway landslide located on Evans/Riceville Road.
Professional services may include, but are not limited to, preliminary engineering and design, geotechnical investigation and analysis, surveying, public or community meetings, preparation of plans, specifications and bidding documents, bidding assistance, construction administration, construction inspection, and any other engineering services deemed necessary by the County to successfully complete the project. Due to the current roadway conditions, geotechnical investigations and engineering analysis may be required.

Sealed Proposals must be received no later than 1:00 p.m. on July 30, 2026, at the Cascade County Public Works Department, 279 Vaughn South Frontage Road, Great Falls, Montana.
Electronic submittals will not be accepted. All Proposals must be submitted in printed form and shall include a proposed fee schedule for professional services, along with an estimated project start date and anticipated completion date. Proposals shall remain valid for a period of 60 days following the submission deadline. Proposals received after 1:00 p.m. on July 30, 2026, will not be considered.
Following review and evaluation, a recommendation for award will be presented to the Cascade County Board of County Commissioners at a future publicly noticed meeting.
Time is of the essence, as construction must be completed prior to winter conditions.
Cascade County reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, waive any informalities or irregularities in the Proposals received, and accept the Proposal determined to be in the best interest of Cascade County.
