17th ANGEL BIRTHDAY

KELLI CHRISTINE HALTERMAN Nov. 10, 1990 - Nov. 17, 2008 It is with a heavy heart that I sit and write a memorial for you on what should have been your 35th birthday. Days will pass and turn into years. But we will forever remember you. Grief is a reminder that love was present, and even though it’s no longer in its original form, that love still exists. We never think what we’ll miss about our loved ones until they are gone. It is only after, in the hollow of their absence, that we realize it is the simple things that we crave, like the sound of a voice, the warmth of a touch, a smile of happiness, and most of all simply their presence. Losing you has taught many of us so much. You taught us to live each day to the fullest and enjoy each moment as we never know when it could be our last.
