25091SS10 FORM 6 Plumbing Commission Notice of Public Hearing to Adopt Rules A public hearing will be held via Microsoft Teams on September 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time, to consider the adoption and amendment of proposed Administrative Rules of South Dakota numbered 20:54:02:01; 20:54:19:01; 20:54:20:11; 20:54:21:01; 20:54:21:03; 20:54:22:02; 20:54:22:03; 20:54:25:02; 20:54:25:03; and 20:54:26:04. The effect of the rules will be adoption of the 2024 Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and amendments. The reason for adopting the proposed rules is to update the plumbing code from the 2015 UPC to the 2024 UPC. Persons interested in presenting amendments, data, opinions, and arguments for or against the proposed rules may appear in person or via Microsoft Teams at the hearing, or mail or e-mail them to South Dakota Plumbing Commission, 217 W Missouri Ave, Pierre, SD 57501 and SDPlumbing@state.sd.us. The deadline to submit any such written comments for consideration is seventy-two hours before the date of the public hearing and no later than September 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time. After the written comment period, the Plumbing Commission will consider all written and oral comments it receives on the proposed rules. The Plumbing Commission may modify or amend a proposed rule at that time to include or exclude matters that are described in this notice.
