26-043-ITB North ARFF Station 2 Kitchen Remodel NOTICE TO BIDDERS Pursuant to KRS 424.260 and KRS 183.142, the Kenton County Airport Board (Owner) will receive competitive sealed bids for the North ARFF Station 2 Kitchen Remodel project at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (Airport) located in Boone County, Kentucky (the "Project"). Bids will be received no later than 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 20, 2026. No bids will be accepted after that time unless extended pursuant to an addendum issued by the Owner. The Project includes the remodel of the North ARFF Station 2 kitchen, main corridor and vestibule. This project will include new electrical, plumbing, tile, carpet, painting, etc. The new kitchen equipment will be procured by KCAB and furnished for installation. The contractor will be responsible for moving existing kitchen equipment to a temporary location for use during construction. A Pre-Bid meeting and site visit will be held Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 10:00 am ET, at North ARFF Station 2, 81 Clay Drive, Hebron, KY 41048. NOTE: Although attendance at the pre-proposal meeting is not limited, the subsequent walkthrough is limited to a maximum of two (2) persons per company. Bidders shall provide a Proposal Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the total main bid amount as specified. The Owner, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4), 28 CFR § 50.3, and 49 CFR Part 21, notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, all contractors will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of the owner's race, color, national origin, sex, creed, age, or disability in consideration for an award.
