ACCEPTING BIDS FOR CHILLER REPLACEMENT AND CONTROLS UPGRADE PROJECT PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) NO. 25-001 NEW HOPE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL CHILLER REPLACEMENT AND CONTROLS UPGRADE PROJECT New Hope Christian School (NHCS), a ministry of New Hope Baptist Church, located at 5202 Watkins Drive, Jackson, Mississippi 39206, is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified and licensed Mississippi mechanical contractors for the replacement of the existing air-cooled chiller and upgrade of the controls and thermostat systems at its educational facility. This project involves the removal of the existing 270-ton RTAA chiller unit and installation of a new air-cooled chiller, including all related piping, electrical work, system balancing, and integration of networked (smart) thermostats. The recommended basis of design is A Trane Ascend ACS215 (approximately 215-ton) air-cooled scroll chiller or approved equivalent. The scope also includes rework of chilled-water piping, verification and balancing of chilled-water flow, and installation of upgraded thermostat controls for the facility.
