ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 2026 Roadway Improvement Project Project ID 2025-004 Staadt Avenue STH 97 to CTH C Town of McMillan Marathon County, Wisconsin This project is a WisDOT ARIP funded pavement replacement project. Work on said project shall be completed by August 28, 2026. The project is on Staadt Avenue from STH 97 to CTH C, approximately 3.1 miles in length. The work for which bids are asked includes the following: clearing & grubbing, removals, excavation common, base aggregate dense, pulverize and relay, asphaltic surface, culvert pipes & endwalls, concrete curb & gutter, geotextile fabric, locating no passing zones, sawing, ditch cleaning, signing, pavement marking, landscaping, traffic control, construction staking and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown in the plans and included in the contract. Any Bidder requesting Bidding Documents by mail shall submit a non-refundable check payable to: QUEST Civil Engineers, LLC at the Designer address above in the amount of $25 covering plans, specifications, and proposal including shipping and handling costs. SUBMITTAL OF BIDS Bidders shall submit bids in a separate sealed envelope for the contract to Town of McMillan, 113904 Elm Tree Rd, Marshfield, WI, 54449, ATTN: Debbie Derfus. Bids will be received until 4:00 PM local time, May 14, 2026 at which time all bids will be declared closed. Envelopes shall be clearly marked "Sealed Bid - Staadt Avenue". The bids will be opened during the Town of McMillan's Town Board Meeting following the closing of the bidding at 4:00 PM local time, May 14, 2026, at 113904 Elm Tree Rd, Marshfield, WI 54449. PROPOSAL AND CONTRACT AGREEMENTS No bid shall be considered unless accompanied by the Proposal Agreement fully executed by the bidder. The bidder that is awarded the contract agrees to execute the contract agreement within five (5) days after the Notice of Award, begin work no later than five (5) days after written Notice to Proceed, and complete all work included under the terms of the contract in the allotted time.
