NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids entitled;
Contract No. 2026-02
Water Well and Pump Maintenance and Repair Annual Contract
will be received by the Township of Wall, 2700 Allaire Road, Wall Township, New Jersey, 07719 up to December 5, 2025 at 2:30pm and publicly opened and read aloud. No bids will be accepted after said prevailing time and day.
The proposed work consists of but is not limited to;
Service, repair, testing, and maintenance of well and booster pumping equipment, including electric motors and gear drives for the Water Departments in Wall Township, Sea Girt, Brielle, and Spring Lake in accordance with the requirements stipulated herein and all prevailing federal, state, and local safety and labor regulations.
Work will be performed on an as-needed basis when authorized by the Water Departments in writing. Emergency services shall be provided to the Water Departments on a request basis. The contractor shall report to the site in need of service within three (3) hours after notification from the Water Departments. Guarantee workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year upon completion of the work on equipment repairs/ replacement.
The work is located at various pump and well stations throughout the Township of Wall, Sea Girt, Brielle, and Spring Lake.
Bids must be submitted on forms prepared by Township of Wall. All bids must be enclosed in sealed, specially addressed envelope bearing on the outside the name and address of the bidder and work bid upon. All envelopes should be sent to the attention of the Township Clerk.
Complete digital sets of Bid Documents may be obtained online as a download for One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) at the following website: https://walltownship.h2mplanroom.com, under 'Public Projects'. Complete hard copy sets of the Bid Documents may be obtained from REV, 28 Church Street, Suite #7, Warwick, New York 10990 (tel: 1-845-651-3845), upon posting the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per set to offset the cost of reproduction from the same website. Checks or money orders shall be made payable to REV. Packaging and shipping costs are additional and shall be borne by the Bidder.
Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond and consent of surety, properly executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey.
If a bidder is a corporation or a partnership, the bidder, in conformance with Chapter 33, P.L. 1977, shall submit with his bid a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders who own a ten percent (10%) or greater interest in the firm.
The Township Committee of the Township of Wall reserves the right to reject all bids where the lowest bid is not accepted. The Township further reserves the right to waive any informality in bidding and the right to reject any or all bids deemed to be in the best interest of the Township to do so, and reserves the right to hold the bids and proposal guarantees of the three (3) lowest regular bidders for sixty (60) days before making an award of contract and each bidder agrees that he will not withdraw his bid for that period of time.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing Wage Act, and the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 and, if awarded the contract bidder will be required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-3.1 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 Affirmative Action.
