Advertisement for Bids Sealed bids will be received for: AMI Water Meter Reader Installation Project The City of Pataskala, Ohio 621 West Broad Street Pataskala, Ohio 43062 Description of Project: Installation of approximately 1,000 Itron Cellular 500W Modules at private residences throughout the City of Pataskala. Installation will include a combination of indoor and outdoor installations depending on the location of the customer's water meter. Opinion of Probable Construction Cost (Base Bid): $100,000 Substantial Completion: 330 days from Contract Time commencement Final Completion: 360 days from Contract Time commencement There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid conference at 2:00 p.m. EST, January 28, 2026 at the Pataskala Utility Department Office: 430 South Main Street, Pataskala, Ohio 43062. Bids will be received by the City of Pataskala, Ohio, until 10:00 a.m. EST, February 5, 2026 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The bid opening will take place in the Conference Room at the Pataskala Utility Department Office, 430 South Main Street. All interested parties are invited to attend. The bid packet consists of one copy of specifications. A payment of Fifty dollars ($50.00) excluding shipping will be required to purchase a bid packet. Checks shall be made payable to Key Companies and all documents become the property of the prospective Bidder, with no portion of said payment being refunded. A hard copy of the bid packet can be examined at the Utility Department Office. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Wage Rates, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement of the payment bond and performance bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Attention of bidders is called to Ohio revised Code Section 153.12 which states that NO contract shall be entered into if the price of the Bids for the project, are in excess of twenty percent (20%) above the Engineer's estimate.
