CAMINO REAL REGIONAL MOBILITY AUTHORITY (CRRMA)
INVITATION TO BID – CCSJ: 0924-06-668, ETC PHASE 1 AND PHASE 2 OF THE ALAMO ALTO TRAIL PROJECT
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project generally consists of the construction of two phases of a new shared use path, including crosswalks, ADA ramps, a pedestrian bridge, pavement markings, signs, and illumination. Phase 1 includes approximately 1.3 miles in Fabens, Texas along SH 20 and Alamo Alto Canal to Grace Street. Phase 2 includes approximately 2.1 miles in Tornillo, Texas along SH 20 and FM 1108 to Telegraph Road. The project is in the El Paso County. BIDDER REQUIREMENT: Proposal Volume I of II (Bid Packet) will only be issued to proposed bidders that: (1) are Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Prequalified Contractors, qualified under Item 2L Section 2 "Instructions to Bidders" of the TxDOT Local Government General Requirements and Covenants; and (2) have not been determined by the CRRMA to have been in default under a CRRMA contract within the past five (5) years. BID PACKET AND PLANS & SPECIFICATIONS: Proposal Volume I of II (Bid Packet) is available electronically to TxDOT qualified bidders by sending an email request to Laura.Nevarez@atkinsrealis.com. Electronic copies of Proposal Volume II of II (Plans & Specifications) can be found on the Procurements Page of the CRRMA website: www.crrma.org. QUESTIONS DUE DATE: Questions may be submitted to Edgar Fino at Edgar.Fino@atkinsrealis.com until December 2, 2025, at 5:00 PM (MST). BID DUE DATE: Sealed bids must be received before 2:00 PM (MST) by the CRRMA on December 16, 2025, at the Thorman Conference Room in the basement of the El Paso City 3 Building, located at 801 Texas Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79901 at which time they will be opened and publicly read by the CRRMA. Any extensions or changes in the Bid Packet, Plans & Specifications, or due date will be posted on the Procurements Page of the CRRMA website: www.crrma.org. The CRRMA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive all technicalities, and to accept the bid or bids most beneficial to the CRRMA, as applicable.
