COLLECTOR’S NOTICE OF PAYMENT OF TAX

COLLECTOR'S NOTICE OF PAYMENT OF TAX TAKE NOTICE that the undersigned, the collector of school taxes for the City School District of the City of Corning, New York, has duly received a warrant for the collection of school taxes for such district for all property located within the School District for the school year commencing July 1, 2025; that Five Star Bank, of Painted Post, will receive payment of all such taxes, made in person, without fee as may be voluntarily paid on or before October 31, 2025, at their bank's office located at 3131 Silverback Lane, Painted Post, New York. Alternatively, payments may be mailed to Corning CSD, PO Box 208, Warsaw, NY 14569 or paid online at www.corningareaschools.com (a service fee will apply to online payments). School District taxes may be paid in two equal installments, which are due on or before the following dates: First installment - October 31, 2025 Second installment - March 31, 2026 If the first installment is not paid on or before October 31, 2025, it shall bear interest at the rate of one percent of the first half tax per month for such month of October, and one percent of the first half tax for each subsequent month, or part thereof, until the return of this warrant to the Board of Education on March 31, 2026. No installment of taxes may be paid unless all prior installments have been paid, and no partial payments can be accepted. Any tax remaining unpaid after March 31, 2026 will be returned for collection to the County Treasurer. These agencies charge a collection fee of five percent. This warrant for the collection of taxes expires March 31, 2026, and no payment of taxes can be paid at this office after March 31, 2026.
