COUNTY OF EMMET NOTICE OF CLOSEOUT PUBLIC HEARING FOR MICHIGAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDING FOR 2025 URGENT NEED GRANT County of Emmet will conduct a closeout public hearing on December 18, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at 200 Division St. Petoskey, MI 49770 in the Board of Commissioners room for the purpose of affording citizens an opportunity to submit comments and receive a final report on the completion of the 2025 Urgent Need CDGB grant. The CDBG grant provided funding to assist in Public Safety Equipment- Purchasing and distributing emergency generators and generator related costs due to the ice storm at the end of March 2025. All the CDBG activities benefitted low-to moderate- income persons; No persons will be displaced as a result of the project. Interested parties are invited to comment on the project in person at the public hearing or in writing through Thursday, December 18, 2025 and addressed to Matthew Blythe.
