Crisfield Lead Service Line Inventory
The City of Crisfield is seeking a qualified consultant to complete a Lead Service Line Inventory (LSLI) for the City's water distribution system in accordance with the EPA Lead and Copper Rule (40 CFR Part 141) and Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) requirements. The inventory will identify service line materials from the water main to the building, including both City-owned and customer-owned portions. Sealed proposals are due on Thursday, February 26 at 4 pm.
The project will include a comprehensive review and analysis of available records, including distribution maps, as-built drawings, meter and plumbing records, permits, work orders, billing data, GIS information, and prior materials surveys. These data will be evaluated to determine known service line materials, identify data gaps, and define the extent of required field verification.
Where records are insufficient, the consultant will develop and implement a targeted field verification program consistent with EPA and MDE guidance. The project also includes development of GIS-based mapping to support the inventory and identify the location of known, suspected, and unknown lead service lines.
