DOCUMENT 00 11 13 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Hatboro Borough, located at 414 South York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040, will receive sealed bids online via the PennBid website for the Hatboro Borough 2026 Road Program. Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online until 10:00 A.M. prevailing time on June 9, 2026 at which time the bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at the Borough offices at 414 South York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040. Results will also be opened and posted online via the PennBid™ website. The Work to be completed under this contract includes a base and alternate bid for the mill and overlay of roadways at specified locations in Hatboro Borough, including base repair and pavement markings, and replacement of several curb ramps. All material, labor, and equipment necessary shall be in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408 and Borough Standards. The Work also includes soil erosion and sedimentation control measures, traffic control, and restoration. Asphalt materials shall be based on PennDOT's May 2026 Asphalt Cement Price Index. Click on the "Open Public Opportunities" tab. A nominal fee of 0.33% of the bid amount (from $150 up to $6,000) is assessed only to bidders awarded contracts. This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 89, Transportation (74 PA.C.S.) and Vehicle Code (75 PA.C.S.) Omnibus Amendments and applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended, and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry for work valued at over $100,000. If the Contract Price exceeds $250,000, the project is subject to the Borough's Responsible Contractors Ordinance. All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the Bid Opening or for such period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request. Bids may be withdrawn within two (2) business days after the opening of Bids only by the withdrawing Bidder's strict compliance with 73 P.S. §1602 and any subsequent amendments. Hatboro Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids.
