DONALDSONVILLE HOUSING AUTHORITY REQUEST STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES The Housing Authority of the City of Donaldsonville (DHA) is seeking proposals from qualified architectural firms to provide professional architectural and engineering services for the FY 2026 – FY 2027 HUD Capital Fund Program modernization activities. The contract will be executed for an initial term of 2 years, with DHA reserving the option to extend the agreement up to 3 additional one-year terms, for a maximum total term of 5 years. Services to include assessments, design, specifications, construction documents, bidding support, and construction administration. The selected firm will be required to perform: Facility assessments and evaluationsPreparation of plans and specifications for modernization projectsCost estimating for proposed workAssistance with procurement and biddingConstruction oversight/administration, including site visitsCompliance, with all applicable Federal, State, and Local requirements, with certifications normally associated with Federally funded projects.Closeout services, including punch lists and final inspections Typical modernization activities may include (but are not limited to): RoofingHVAC upgradesElectrical and plumbing improvementsUnit renovationsAccessibility modifications (ADA/UFAS)Site improvements (sidewalks, drainage and utility systems) Interested firms must submit the following: Letter of InterestCompany profile, including size, location(s), and years in businessResumes of key staff assigned to this contractRelevant experience, especially with public housing or HUD-funded workExamples of similar projects completed in the last 5 yearsReferences (minimum of 3)Fee schedule or hourly rate structureProof of insurance (general liability, professional liability, workers' comp) DHA operates 152 public housing units and currently has two Capital Fund Programs.
