The Rosemeyers celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 22, 2026. They were married May 22, 1976 at Saints Simon and Jude Church, Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Rosemeyer is a retired prison warden having worked in corrections for more than 37 years. In 2005 he was awarded Warden of the Year by NAAWS. He is a Vietnam Era Army veteran and currently serves as the Mayor of the Borough of Somerset. Mrs. Rosemeyer is a retired educator having taught at various levels and schools throughout western Pennsylvania including the University of Pittsburgh. Later in life she worked as an early intervention case worker and supervisor for Bedford-Somerset DBHS. Fred & Carol celebrated their anniversary with a dinner hosted by their 3 children while on vacation in the Florida Keys.
