HEARING NOTICE Town of Lexington CLASSIFICATION TAX RATE The Select Board and the Board of Assessors will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, November 10, 2025 at approximately 6:30pm in the Select Board Meeting Room, 1625 Massachusetts to review the property tax classification options available under Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40, Section 56, and then to select a residential factor at a subsequent meeting, at which time the Select Board will set a FY2026 tax rate for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The FY2025 Tax Rates were: residential tax rate $12.23 per $1,000 of assessed value and commercial/industrial/personal property tax rate $24.26 per $1,000 of assessed value.
