ART. §12-306 1. On November 3, 2025, a Complaint was filed by the Washington County Treasurer seeking forfeiture of seized monies now in the possession of the Treasurer in the amount of $13,068.00, which were seized on November 14, 2024 at 18336 Buckey Circle, Apartment 328, Hagerstown, Maryland. The seized monies are alleged to be the property of the above named defendant, seized incident to a search under search warrant of premises to which the defendant did have a connection; and alleged that there is probable cause to believe that the monies have been used or were intended for use in connection with controlled dangerous substances. 2. The latest date on which is a response may be filed is January 15, 2026. 3. The monies shall be forfeited if a response is not filed on time. 4. The owner of the property may have possession of the property pending forfeiture by posting a bond as provided in Md. Code, Crim. Proc. Art, §12-208. 5. Any response to the Complaint should be filed in the District Court of Maryland for Washington County.
