Sealed bids for the construction of the "Red River Parish Courthouse Annex" (the "Project") will be received by the Red River Parish Police Jury (hereinafter "Owner") at The Red River Parish Sheriff's Office Substation, 1900 Lisso Street, Coushatta, Louisiana 71019 until January 16th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., local time at which time bids will be opened and read aloud in the Sheriff's Office Substation meeting room.
A pre-bid conference will be held on January 6th at 2:00 p.m. at the The Red River Parish Sheriff's Office Substation, 1900 Lisso Street, Coushatta, Louisiana 71019. Attendance is mandatory.
Bid security shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be in the form of a Bid Bond on the Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form or other acceptable security in the amount of five percent (5 %) of the bid amount.
Complete Bidding Documents for this project are available in electronic form. They may be obtained without charge and without deposit from Ace Digital at http://acedigital.biz. Printed copies are not available from the Designer but arrangements can be made to obtain them through most reprographic firms. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs. All contractors must be licensed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana and shall provide proof of license and classification as required in the Contract Documents.
Pursuant to R.S. 38:2214 and related provisions, the Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities, and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, provided the bid is in the interest of the public.
If the apparent lowest bid exceeds the Owner's budget estimate, the Owner may negotiate with the lowest bidder in accordance with applicable law.
This project will be subject to the Louisiana Public Bid Law, and winners will be required to comply with all applicable provisions including Contractor's performance and payment bonds, E-Verify affidavits, and other statutory requirements.
Bids shall be valid for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids. The successful Contractor shall commence work within fifteen (15) calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed and shall achieve Substantial Completion within 365 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
The Owner hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award.
