CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: In order to access the Contract Documents (Plans, Specifications and Supplements) the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) must be submitted to Mindee Hurst at mindee@childers-construction.com. NDA is located on FTP site at www.childers-construction.com under the Subcontractor Tab on the Childers Home Page, with the following information: Account: KNOTTBLDG (case sensitive) Password: EXTERIOR (case sensitive) After the NDA is submitted, the subcontractor will receive a document with an account and password to an FTP site with the Contract Documents. It is the responsibility of the bidders and vendors to inquire concerning additional Supplements and Addendums that are normally issued during the bid process. All revisions will be posted on Childers FTP site. PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 9:00am on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the Knott Building. Please meet at Childers Capitol Office, 108 East Jefferson St. GENERAL PRE-QUALIFICATION Bidders must be prequalified by the Construction Manager to bid the project. Those bidders who are NOT previously prequalified for the current 2025 year must submit the form in this bid package. Confirm your status with Savannah Truman. Prequalifications must be submitted a minimum of 7 business days prior to bid, therefore due by December 2, 2025. SPECIAL PREQUALIFICATION 2A and 7A bidders must be SPECIAL pre-qualified by the Construction Manager to bid this bid package of this project. Those bidders who are previously pre-qualified for the current 2025 year must still submit the Special Prequalification Form for this bid package. Qualifications must be submitted by Friday, November 28, 2025, 12 noon – NO EXCEPTIONS. The Special Prequalification Clarifications and Special Prequalification Forms can be found in the bid package in Supplement #1, Items 5b and 5c. BID SECURITY There is 5% security required to bid this project for EVERY Bid Package. BONDING All bids exceeding $100,000 shall provide Performance & Payment Bonds. SEALED BIDS will be received by the Construction Manager until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Bidders are advised to hand deliver bids or send by US mail, FEDEX or UPS to 3472 Weems Road, Unit 1, Tallahassee, FL 32317 and must be confirmed by the bidder by calling our office 850-222-2281.
