10 Years in Heaven

Ten long years have passed since our Mamma, Maria Lombardo, took her final breath on this earth and her first breath in Heaven. And yet, it still feels like yesterday. The world has changed, life has moved forward, but the space she once filled—so completely, so beautifully—remains a place that nothing and no one can ever replace.
Born in Forza d’Agrò, Sicily, Mamma carried the soul of her homeland in her heart. She brought that warmth, that strength, that quiet Sicilian courage with her across oceans to the United States, where she built a life anchored in love, sacrifice, and boundless devotion to her family.
Her hands were gentle, her voice was comfort, and her presence was home.
She was the heartbeat of the family—the one who held everything together, even when life felt heavy.
Ten years without her smile.
Ten years without her touch.
Ten years without hearing her say, “Theresa.”
But her love… her love never left. It surrounds us still, in ways we feel when we least expect it—soft, quiet reminders that a mother’s love is eternal.
Mamma, not a day goes by that we don’t miss you.
Not a moment passes that we don’t wish for one more hug,
one more conversation,
one more chance to sit beside you.
But we carry you with us.
In our hearts.
In our memories.
In the deepest parts of who we are.
Ten years in Heaven,
and forever in our souls
Theresa, Paul, Paulie,Dominick…
Until Again Ma.
Forever loved.
Forever missed.
Forever remembered.
