Johnston City Council Work Session Monday, November 3, 2025 1. Opening of Meeting A. Call to Order Mayor Dierenfeld called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m. B. Roll Call Members present Tom Cope, James Evans, Rhonda Martin, Bryan Burkhardt (Council Member Burkhardt arrived at 5:33 p.m.) 2. Work Session Items A. Discussion of Draft Development Agreement with 141 Business Park, LLC Economic Development Project Manager Ethan Standard reviewed the draft agreement and answered questions from the Mayor and Council B. Central Iowa Water Works (CIWW) Capacity Request Update Public Works Director Matt Greiner and Foth Engineer Nate Whipple updated the Mayor and Council on the capacity request made to CIWW. C. East of Merle Hay Road Assessment Policy and Sanitary Sewer Connection Fee Review Nate Whipple of Foth provided an overview of the Assessment Policy and the Sewer Connection fee and answered questions from the Mayor and Council. 3.
