LCHA Livingston Apartment Advertisement to Bid The Livingston County housing authority is inviting sealed bid proposals from interested and qualified parties for the LCHA Livingston Apartments 1st Floor Renovation, located at the Livingston apartments - 920 west Madison Street, Pontiac, Illinois, 61764. This project consists of interior renovations as detailed within the construction documents herein. Work includes but is not limited to renovating the 1st Floor spaces of the Livingston apartments; doors, finishes, equipment & fixtures. Bids will be received by the Livingston County housing authority until the date and time listed below, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Pre-Bid Date: Thursday 12/04/2025.Pre-Bid Time: 10:00 AM Central.Pre-Bid Location: Livingston Apartments Community / conference room - 920 West Madison street, pontiac, illinois, 61764.Bid Date: wednesday 12/17/2025.Bid Time: 2:00 PM Central.Bid Location: Livingston County Housing Authority Main Office - 903 West North Street, Pontiac, Illinois, 61764. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of five (5)% percent of the bid amount. No bids may be with-drawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Online procurement and contracting documents: documents will be available online through an electronic bid site managed by Farnsworth Group, inc. Obtain access after November 17th, 2025, by visiting www.f-w.com and clicking on the project bid list link at the bottom of the page or by contacting Farnsworth Group, inc. Online access will be provided to all registered bidders during the bidding process. A separate ftp site will be made available to the successful bidder for the duration of construction. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the work. A performance bond, separate labor and material payment bond, and insurance in a form acceptable to owner will be required of the successful bidder. The owner requires all contractors and vendors doing business with the owner not to discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, age, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ancestry, non-job-related handicaps or national origin. The Livingston County housing authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding. After receipt of bids and completion of the review process, the Livingston County housing authority may award a contract to the bidder that, in its opinion, will provide a combination of the best services and reasonable cost. Successful bidders shall be required to observe the fair employment practices commission rules pertaining to equal employment opportunity, and comply with the Illinois prevailing wage act, 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.., and use wage determination as determined by the Illinois department of labor, conciliation, and mediation division as amended to date.
