The regular meetings of the Planning Commission and Board of Building and Zoning Appeals will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The meetings will be held at City Hall, 1st floor Council Chambers, 538 North Market Street, Wooster, Ohio.
The Planning Commission will hold public hearings for the following application at their meeting, which will begin at 6:30 pm: PC-25-27 Stephen Carr requesting Conditional Use approval for a wireless telecommunication facility at 1799 Akron Road in a C-3 (General Commercial) zoning district.
The Board of Building and Zoning Appeals will hold public hearings for the following applications at their meeting, which will begin at 7:30 pm: BZA-25-23 Adam Mullet with United Fencing requesting an Area Variance from Planning and Zoning Code Section 1113.01(e)8G(i) and (ii) to allow a fence within the required front setback that exceeds the permitted height and is not fifty percent open at 1048 Rebecca Street (parcel 65-00311.000) in an R-T (Traditional Residential) zoning district. BZA-25-24 Edward Miller, requesting an Area Variance from 1115.03(a) to allow a single-family detached dwelling and related accessory structures to exceed the maximum lot coverage at 620 Western Drive with permanent parcel number 68-01110.000 in an R-2 (Single-family Residential) zoning district.
All interested parties are welcome to attend and will have the opportunity to address the Commission and Board during the public hearing portion of the meetings, as well as submit evidence and written comments regarding the applications. Special auxiliary aids for individuals with disabilities are available upon request, provided at least five days' notice is given prior to the meeting.
