Legal Notice City of Yreka, California Pursuant to Government Code Section 36933(a), this constitutes a summary of an ordinance introduced October 7, 2025, and adopted October 21, 2025, by the City Council of the City of Yreka at its regular meeting in Yreka, California. Councilmembers McCoy, Middleton, and Clair voted in favor of adopting the ordinance.Councilmembers Davis and Baker voted against. This ordinance shall be in full force and effective on November 21, 2025. ORDINANCE NO. 885 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YREKA, CALIFORNIA, ADDING CHAPTER 5.30 "CANNABIS BUSINESS ACTIVITIES" TO TITLE 5 "BUSINESS REGULATIONS AND LICENSES" TO REGULATE MEDICINAL CANNABIS NON-STOREFRONT RETAIL BUSINESSES; AMENDING CHAPTER 16.100 "MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES"; AMENDING CHAPTER 9.25 "MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES"; AMENDING CHAPTER 9.26 "MEDICAL MARIJUANA CULTIVATION, DISTRIBUTION AND DELIVERY PROHIBITED"; AMENDING CHAPTER 9.27 "NON-MEDICAL MARIJUANA CULTIVATION REGULATION AND THE PROHIBITION OF COMMERCIAL CANNABIS ACTIVITY, MANUFACTURE, TESTING, DISPENSING, SALES, DISTRIBUTION AND DELIVERY WITHIN ALL ZONING DISTRICTS IN THE CITY OF YREKA"; AND FINDING THIS ACTION IS EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) PURSUANT TO CEQA GUIDELINES SECTION 15378.
