NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION FOR CAMA MAJOR DEVELOPMENT PERMIT The Department of Environmental Quality hereby gives public notice as required by NCGS 113A-119(b) that the following applications were submitted for a development permit in Areas of Environmental Concern as designated under the CAMA: On November 3, 2025, Watana Investments, LLC proposed to construct a new private two (2) slip docking facility with temporary tie-up area to the ¼ width approximately 10 ft. landward to the USACE Setback along the AIWW at 3052 Shell Landing Rd., adj. to the AIWW in Supply, Brunswick County; On November 3, 2025, Tim and Megan Powell proposed to construct a four (4) slip private docking facility up to the USCAE Setback and excavation within the AIWW at Lots 1, 2 & 3 (Lot 1 PIN 2440001901, Lot 2 PIN 2440001902, Lot 3 PIN 2440001903), Bertha Court SW, adj. to the AIWW in Ocean Isle Beach, Brunswick County; And on November 4, 2025, Henry & Melissa Jacobs proposed to reconfigure a private docking facility to provide three (3) formalized slips at 435 Roberts Rd., adj. to Topsail Sound, Hampstead, Pender County. Comments mailed to Tancred Miller, Director, Division of Coastal Management, 400 Commerce Avenue, Morehead City, NC 28557-3421, prior to November 28, 2025 will be considered in making the permit decision. Later comments will be accepted and considered up to the time of permit decision. Project modification may occur based on review and comment by the public and state and federal agencies.
