NOTICE OF ORDINANCE ADOPTION

NOTICE OF ORDINANCE ADOPTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that under provisions of Section 15 of the Tulare City Charter, Ordinance 2025-14 was adopted by the City of Tulare City Council on December 2, 2025. The following is a summary of Ordinance 2025-14, an ordinance of the City Council of the City of Tulare repealing and placing Section 5.96.030 of Chapter 5.96 (Commercial Cannabis Businesses) of Title 5 (Business Regulations) of the Tulare Municipal Code. The purpose of this ordinance is to extend the permitted hours of operations for commercial cannabis businesses in the City of Tulare, aligning with State law, allowing them to operate between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. as well as between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. the day after Thanksgiving, unless more restrictive times are established by agreement with the City. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a certified copy of the full text of this Ordinance is posted in the City Clerk's Office at 411 East Kern Avenue, Tulare. Said Ordinance was introduced on November 18, 2025, and finally passed and adopted on December 2, 2025, by the City of Tulare City Council by the following vote: Ayes - Stephen C. Harrell, Terry A.
