NOTICE OF ORDINANCE RATIFICATION PUBLIC HEARING FEBRUARY 9, 2026
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, will conduct public hearings at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026 in the Municipal Building Courtroom located at 200 S. Tulane Avenue for the following:
AN ORDINANCE TO RATIFY ORDINANCE NOS. 19-2024, 23-2024, 2-2025, 4-2025, 25-2025, 28-2025, 33-2025, 38-2025, AND 40-2025 ALL OF WHICH AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 2, TITLED "THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OAK RIDGE, TENNESSEE," BY AMENDING THE ZONING MAP TO REZONE VARIOUS PARCELS AS SET FORTH BELOW, WHICH ORDINANCES WERE PREVIOUSLY APPROVED WITHOUT MEETING THE NEW 21-DAY LEGAL NOTICE PUBLICATION TIMEFRAME SET FORTH IN TENNESSEE CODE ANNOTATED §13-7-203(A).
• Ordinance 19-2024, amended Ordinance No. 2, titled "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee," by amending the zoning map which is made a part of the ordinance by changing the zoning district of Parcel 048.01 Anderson County Tax Map 104E Group A, containing approximately 3.48 acres, from R-1-C/MDO, Single Family Residential District with a Manhattan District Overlay, to R-3, Medium Density Residential District; said parcel being located off the Oak Ridge Turnpike near Bermuda Road; and
• Ordinance 23-2024, amended Ordinance No. 2, titled "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee," by amending the zoning map which is made a part of the ordinance by changing the zoning district of Parcel 021.00 Anderson County Tax Map 087N Group C and Parcels 001.00 and 002.00 Anderson County Tax Map 094D Group A, containing approximately 12.6 acres, from RG-1, Residential, Open Space, and Reserve District, to R-3/PUD, Medium Density Residential District with a Planned Unit Development Overlay, and approving the associated Planned Unit Development Preliminary Master Plan; said parcels being located off Eastburn Lane and the Oak Ridge Turnpike; and
• Ordinance 2-2025, amended Ordinance No. 2, titled "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee," by amending the zoning map which is made a part of the ordinance by changing the zoning district of Parcels 033.00 and 034.00 Anderson County Tax Map 105D Group A, containing approximately 2.65 acres, from RG-1, Residential, Open Space, and Reserve District, to B-2, General Business District; said parcels being located at 11 and 13 Wilberforce Avenue; and
• Ordinance 4-2025, amended Ordinance No. 2, titled "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee," by amending the zoning map which is made a part of the ordinance by changing the zoning district of Parel 039.00 Anderson County Tax Map 100A Group C, containing approximately 3.6 acres, from R-3/PUD, Medium Density Residential District with a Planned Unit Development Overlay, to R-3, Medium Density Residential; said parcel being located at 113 Lafayette Drive; and
• Ordinance 25-2025, amended Ordinance No. 2, titled "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee," by amending the zoning map which is made a part of the ordinance by changing the zoning district of Parcels 008.00, 009.00, 010.00, and 012.00 Anderson County Tax Map 105D Group A, containing approximately 7.76 acres, from B-2, General Business District, to R-4, High Density Residential District; said parcels being located at 104, 105, 106, and 111 Inn Lane; and
• Ordinance 28-2025, amended Ordinance No. 2, titled "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee," by amending the zoning map which is made a part of the ordinance by changing the zoning district of Parcel 047.00 Anderson County Tax Map 099G Group A, containing 0.27 acres, from R-2/MDO, Low-Density Residential District with a Manhattan District Overlay, to B-1, Neighborhood Business District; said parcel being located at 624 W. Outer Drive; and
• Ordinance 33-2025, amended Ordinance No. 2, titled "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee," by amending the zoning map which is made a part of the ordinance by changing the zoning district of a portion of Parcel 038.00 Anderson County Tax Map 106A Group B, containing approximately 0.58 acres, from R-1-C/MDO, Single Family Residential District with a Manhattan District Overlay, to UB-2/PUD, Unified General Business District with a Planned Unit Development Overlay, said parcel being located at 106 Pratt Lane, and approving the associated Planned Unit Development Preliminary Master Plan; said Planned Unit Development being located at the corner of Lafayette Drive and South Illinois Avenue (Lafayette Crossing); and
• Ordinance 38-2025, amended Ordinance No. 2, titled "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee," by amending the zoning map which is made a part of the ordinance by changing the zoning district of Parcel 043.00 Anderson County Tax Map 094F Group E, containing approximately 4.19 acres, from IND-1, Industrial District, to B-2, General Business District; said parcel being located at 317 Belgrade Road; and
• Ordinance 40-2025, amended Ordinance No. 2, titled "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee," by amending the zoning map which is made a part of the ordinance by changing the zoning district of Parcel 006.00 Anderson County Tax Map 099N Group B, containing approximately 10.44 acres, from E, Education and Research District and O-2, Office District, to R-4/PUD, High Density Residential District with a Planned Unit Development District Overlay, and approving the associated Planned Unit Development Preliminary Master Plan; said parcel being located at 110 Badger Avenue.
