NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE GRANGER CITY COUNCIL ON CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE
The Granger City Council will hold a public hearing at 7:00 o'clock p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in the Granger Community Center, 2200 Walnut Street, Granger, Iowa, to consider changing the zoning classification of the following described real estate:
Parcel 2024-65 as shown on the Plat of Survey Recorded in Book 19801 at Page 273,
And
The East Half of the Northwest Quarter Section 18, Township 80 North, Range 25 West of the 5th P.M., Polk County, Iowa, and the West half of the Northeast Quarter Section 18, Township 80 North, Range 25 West of the 5th P.M., Polk County, Iowa, Except for Parcel 2024-65, as shown on the Plat of Survey Recorded in Book 19801 at Page 273, and Except Commencing at the North Quarter Corner of Section 18, Township 80 North, Range 25, West of the 5th P.M., Polk County, Iowa, thence South 33 feet to the South ROW line of NW 102nd Avenue, Thence North 89° 06' East 182.0 feet along the said South ROW line of NW 102nd Avenue, thence continuing South 76° 07' East 610.3 feet along said South ROW line of NW 102nd Avenue to the point of beginning; thence continuing South 76° 07' East 566.5 feet, thence South 300.00 feet along the East line of the West half of the Northeast quarter of said Section 18, thence North 435.8 feet to the point of beginning, and Except Parcel D and Parcel E as shown on the Plat of Survey recorded in Book 8634 at Page 847 and Except Highway.
from the "A-1" Agricultural District to "P.U.D." Planned Unit Development District (Beaver Creek Estates P.U.D).
The Applicant for the request for the change in zoning classification is MADD, LLC.
Any person may express their opinion on the requested changes at the Public Hearing.
