NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR CASE NO. 9836 In the matter of the Hagerstown Light Department's application for authority to increase its rates for electric service. An evening hearing for the purpose of receiving public comments in connection with the application on the above-titled matter will be a virtual meeting held Wednesday, January 14, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. The hearing will begin with a presentation by the HLD, followed by brief statements from the Maryland Office of People's Counsel (OPC), and the Technical Staff of the Commission. If any member of the public would like to participate in the hearing, they may sign up through the Commission's website https://www.psc.state.md.us/ by January 12, 2026. Under the "Featured Topics" section on the right side of the website, take the following steps: click on Public Comment Hearing Sign up; click on Case No. 9836; click on January 16, 2026; select 6:00 p.m. and click on "next"; and enter your name and email address and click "Schedule Event." You will receive a zoom link once you have completed the sign-up process.
