NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
HOLLAND CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN:
1. That the Township Board of the Charter Township of Holland, Ottawa County, Michigan, will hold a public hearing at the Holland Charter Township Offices, 353 N. 120th Avenue, Holland Charter Township, Ottawa County, Michigan on Thursday, the 4th day of December, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., local time, on an amendment to the Final Development Plan for the Macatawa Legends Planned Unit Development, on lands in Holland Charter Township, Ottawa County, Michigan, described as follows:
All that land located in the North one-half of Section 6, Town 5 North, Range 15 West, Holland Charter Township, Ottawa County, Michigan, commonly known as "Macatawa Legends." (detailed legal description on file at Township Office).
2. That the proposed amendments include but are not necessarily limited to the following items generally contained within future development phase parcel 70-16-06-400-028: increase the overall unit count for the Macatawa Legends PUD by 1 unit, from 605 to 606 total dwelling units due to an increase of the total unit count within Fairway View by 1 unit from 108 to 109 total dwelling units; reduce the site condominium width of several units on the south side of proposed road in Phase 2 of Fairway View; and affirm a deviation from the private street paving requirement associated with Section 8.2.D.4 of the Holland Charter Township Zoning Ordinance to require surface course pavement installation is complete within 2 years of the date a development phase is issued its first building permit.
3. That written comments concerning the above matter may be filed prior to the hearing with the Holland Charter Township Board at the Holland Charter Township Offices, 353 N. 120th Avenue, Holland, Michigan 49424, at any time Monday through Friday, other than a legal holiday, during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Written comments may also be filed at the hearing.
4. That a copy of the Final Development Plan is on file at the Holland Charter Township Offices, 353 N. 120th Avenue, Holland, Michigan 49424, and may be inspected at any time Monday through Friday, other than a legal holiday, during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., by any interested party.
5. The Charter Township of Holland will provide necessary and reasonable auxiliary aids and services at this hearing, such as signers for hearing impaired persons and audiotapes of printed materials for visually impaired persons, upon receipt of five days prior notice. Disabled persons requiring such auxiliary aids or services should so notify the Charter Township of Holland by contacting the Clerk's Department, 353 N. 120th Avenue, Holland, Michigan 49424, Telephone (616) 396-2345.
