NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
For A Site Specific Agricultural Management Practice Application To The Sussex County Agriculture Development Board
NOTICE is hereby given that a Right to Farm Site-specific Agriculture Management Practice (SSAMP) application has been filed with the Sussex County Agricultural Development Board ("SCADB"), by Hunts Mill Farm (Brian & Marissa Cramer) for property located at 223 Hunts Road, and identified as Block 1903 Lot 1 on the Tax Map of Fredon Township. The applicant makes this filing pursuant to N.J.S.A. 4:1C-1 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 2:76-2.3 et. seq.
The applicant is seeking a Site Specific Agricultural Management Practice determination for the construction of a 60' x 40' pole barn to house agricultural equipment and livestock, and to establish that the applicant's particular operation or practice on the aforementioned property is generally accepted in the agricultural industry. The applicant will request any and all additional relief that may be required.
The Sussex County Agricultural Board will hold a public hearing on this application on May 18, 2026 at 7:30 PM, in the Sussex County Commissioner Meeting Room, 1st Floor, Sussex County Administrative Center, One Spring Street, Newton, New Jersey, 07860.
This meeting is open to the public and members of the public who wish to participate may do so in person or by attorney. The application may be inspected at the office of the Sussex County Agricultural Development Board in the Sussex County Division of Planning & Economic Development, 3rd Floor, Sussex County Administration Building, 1 Spring Street, Newton, NJ 07860.
