NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING SPARTANBURG COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT ONE FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027 OPERATING BUDGET Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by Spartanburg County School District One at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, the 8th day of June 2026. The hearing will be held at the Spartanburg County School District One Administration Building, which is located at 121 Wheeler Street, Campobello, South Carolina, 29322. As required by Section 6-1-80, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, as amended, the public is advised of the following: The budget of Spartanburg County School District One for the current Fiscal Year calls for revenues of $66,181,307 and expenditures of $66,181,307. The proposed budget of Spartanburg County School District One for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 calls for revenues of $68,594,524 and expenditures of $68,594,524. The proposed revenues for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 operating budget of Spartanburg County School District One represents a 3.65% increase in revenues from the projected actual revenues for the current fiscal year. Ad valorem property taxes in the amount of 175.8 mills were levied in the current Fiscal Year to meet operational needs of the Spartanburg County School District One. The Spartanburg County School District One Board of Trustees estimates that ad valorem property tax revenue of $17,970,628 will be necessary to meet the revenues required by the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 operating budget of the Spartanburg County School District One.
