NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Williamstown Township Planning Commission Ingham County, Michigan Pursuant to Public Act 110 of 2006, as amended (the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act), the Williamstown Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at its regular meeting on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Township Hall, 4990 Zimmer Road, Williamston, Michigan 48895. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on a special land use applicationsubmitted by St. Katherine's Episcopal Church, 4656 Meridian Road, to allow the vacant "Parish Cottage" building to be used as a Montessori middle school. The Parish Cottage is just north of the historic chapel. Montessori Radmoor School proposes to lease the building for a minimum of two years for this purpose. St. Katherine's is in an R-1, One Family Residential District. A school like the one proposed is permitted in the R-1 district, subject to special land use approval. The site plan and application for the Montessori middle school may be examined at the Township Hall during regular business hours, Tuesday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Wednesday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., and Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing or submit written comments to the Planning Commission at 4990 Zimmer Rd., Williamston, MI 48895.
