NOTICE OF RULE DEVELOPMENT BY THE SCHOOL BOARD OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA The School Board of Okaloosa County, Florida, pursuant to the provisions of §120.54, Florida Statutes, hereby gives notice that it is developing a new School Board policy which will amend the current policy 04-49, the title of which is: District Harm Prevention and Threat Management. The proposed amendments under the new policy make revisions to current policy provisions to ensure efficient and effective District operations, implement legislative changes and requirements of the State Board of Education, and make miscellaneous technical corrections regarding School-Based Threat Management Teams and District Threat Management Teams. The specific legal authority for the proposed policy is §1001.41, Florida Statutes.
